Earth Promise is an online social network and community for environmentally conscious people. It is a platform to document promises to make changes in one's everyday life that will improve the earth's condition caused by global warming and related problems. In addition to making these commitments, and through a unique personal page that can be created, people can track their promises, connect with others with similar concerns, and spread the word, informing about the effect of making an Earth Promise. As these issues can have an effect on everybody, the target audience for Earth Promise is anyone who wants to help improve the condition of the environment regardless of one's income level, age, or political persuasion.

We are looking for a clean, brandable, icon-like logo mark that relates to the earth, the environment, people making promises to help stop global warming, etc. Something that will look professional and memorable on the website as well as promotional items like t-shirts, hats, mouse pads, etc. Our original thought is to have the logo mark as some form of a unique, icon-like globe, but we are open to other design concepts as well.
Feel free to PM me with any questions you may have.

I have run two very successful contests here on SitePoint - one for name tap [.com] several months back and another for Soundview Coworking this past month and have been very pleased with the designs submitted in each contest. We look forward to the participation of previous entrants and submissions from new design pros here as well.

Thanks in advance to all who participate.
