Animal & Pet
We are a company of dog trainers specializing on 2 areas: 1. Training of guide dogs for the Blind 2. Training for family dogs We also offer dog walking services. Our training philosophy is based on scientific research and focuses on positive reinforcement. We train dogs, we do not dominate dogs! Being a guide dog is a very challenging job for any dog, so it is very important that the dog actually likes it's job. We achieve that through positively reinforcing wanted behavious and selecting only very healthy dogs with a good character for the training. Our goal is that the dog and its human alike have fun in training and that they develop a good relationship that enables them to live together in a way that's good for both sides. We create partnerships where everyone is happy. Our company name petiquette is composed from the word "pet" and "etiquette". We want to teach dogs and humans the "etiquette" of living together. The dog needs to learn that (for example) it must not jump on people. But there's things we humans also need to learn, so we teach families how to be a good companion for their pet. Our target group: - blind and visually impaired people - people who want to focus on positive training and communication - people with mid to high incomes Our target group are not: - people who believe dogs are wolfs - people who believe they need to dominate their dogs.
petiquette is not self-explaining for everybody. It would be good if the logo reflected the origins of the company name: pet and etiquette. Play with colors or fonts or similar to make it more apparent. I am looking for a more creative logo than "just" a pretty dog. I would love a desing that highlights either the guide-dog-part of the company or the etiquette part of the company name. If you want to include a dog of specific breed into your desing, go with one of the following (because they are the typical guid dog breeds): - Rough Collie (I myself own Collies, so that would be my preference), Labrador, Schnauzer, Poodle, Golden Retriever, German Shepherd It is not strictly nessecary to have a super-realistic dog! I am just as happy with a comic-dog, a polygon-dog, just a silhuette, origami-style... or other creative ideas. The mood can be friendly, playful, funny, positive etc. It should not be corny. I am not looking for a paw-print on a heart!
