Update for Final Round:
After reviewing all submissions I want to take this in a little different direction. I choose all finalist based upon style and/or trying to incorporate elements of the old logo.
I have uploaded 2 new files. As a company, we feel we want to keep the font style of the "logo to modify" just rearrange. We like the idea of CDC being large and maybe the full name stacked to the right. In the other file "80% mods to logo" we played with stacking CDC and the words but were not really happy with the rough results.
We still would really like to find a way to pull an element of the original logo into this new logo.
Thanks for your help!
Our original logo has served our 25 person company for 15 years.
We are known in our local market simply as CDC and like the idea of focusing on those letters but feel that we need to keep the full company name in the logo of Civil Design Concepts, PA
Would like to see some elements of our original logo incorporated into the new logo...such as the wavy lines. FYI...these wavy lines in original logo actually represent two mountain profiles similar to the topography in our local Asheville NC area
We recently tried a new logo that our web designers created (http://www.civildesignconcepts.com) ...we like the modern and clean look but it is too linear. We need something with a similar ratio and "rectangular" as our original logo to facilitate incorporation into our plan sheets, etc. After producing the website logo we thought that pulling in elements of the original logo would be good but we are open to ideas.
Our plans are scanned and reproduced so shading or fading in the logo does not work.
