Indigo Healthcare Education Pty Ltd

We are a Registered Training Organisation providing nationally accredited healthcare training and assessment for the healthcare industry in Australia and New Zealand. Our training is delivered via a mix of delivery methods (eg from face to face training to distance learning) Our students are adult learners working in the healthcare industry (eg in dental practises, GP's, medical centres, hospitals, allied health settings). Some students will be on a Government funded traineeship. Our training offerings are clinical and non-clinical and range from workforce entry level qualification to Diploma level. A small sample of our courses include; medical receptionist, business admin, HR , health admin, medical terminology, dental assisting, Frontline Management, Diploma of management, Diploma Practice management, and more. The healthcare industry is rapidly expanding and changing and our business strategy is to expand our course offerings to include training in electronic health ('E Health') etc, as we position ourselves as being thought leaders around people development in the healthcare industry. This industry will require more and more qualified people and jobs (that perhaps do not exist yet) to keep pace with the healthcare demands of an ageing population, increasing rates of chronic disease, (eg obesity, diabetes) and the increasing demand for electronic health management and systems (eg on-line diagnoses, online claims processing, etc etc)

Doodles attached indicate the sort thing we are thinking about. The health professions are steeped in history and tradition, which we want to acknowledge but we need to combine this with an image of being right up front with the latest healthcare trends and learning. I like to pulse rate monitor because it has the healthcare connotations and puts Indigo in the trace 'the pulse of learning'. But maybe pulse trace is over-done? Also like the prescription symbol??? However really open-minded - go for it!!
Target audience - individuals wanting quals ot further job prospects, Healthcare managers wantiing to up-skill their team, Managers wanting to develop their individual practice and large accounts with several practices under them.
Mostly female but who knows how this employment sector will change in the future? Generalisation but most people choose to be in the Healtchcare industry because they want to care/support/look after people, not to earn lots of money!
