We bring gentle native pollinators to backyard gardens. We sell native bee houses, nesting material, and cocoons of mason bees and leafcutter bees. We assist with managing the nests for pest control and optimal bee health. Our mission is to increase the population of native pollinators in our community and in turn, provide backyard gardeners with superior pollination services using non-aggressive bees. Note: native bees DO NOT MAKE HONEY! Honey comb pattern/honey color is exclusive to honey bees. It will not represent the bee species that we raise.

Mason bees (also called blue orchard bees) do not look like a honeybee. It only takes 1 mason bee to do the work of 60 honeybees. They are fuzzy and will be completely covered in pollen. They are solitary and extremely gentle. They pollinate spring crops like fruit trees.

Leafcutter bees are also solitary bees. They take clippings of leaves or flower petals to build their cocoons. The clippings are small circles that they hold between their legs as they fly. They emerge in the summer to pollinate vegetable gardens. see pictures here- https://native.thehoneybeeconservan…tter-bees/
Both species are non-aggressive, do not swarm, and do not make honey.
