The goal is to create a site linking financially distressed homeowners to a large 'tree' of experienced, local investors who want to compete to create the best win-win situation for both, and furthermore, who specialize in buying homes and/or offering unique solutions for the homeowner's exact type of situation, home and area.
Additionally, we would like to somehow indicate that the whole purpose is to provide a fair solution, where both parties feel like it is a win-win for them.
You as a designer will attempt to choose colors, design, layout, etc. that promotes a relaxed, stress-free feeling that also makes the user feel as if they are at the right place (that they're on the 'scent'), to solve their problems quickly and fairly, and that they will have multiple offers/solutions for their home.

Prize:
$350 USD. Logo $125, Uncoded Template $225

Note: If Template winner and Logo winner are NOT from the same designer, it will be the website template designers further task to take the winning Logo design and place it on the website layout page, and perhaps (if necessary), tweak the website layout colors to make it consistent with the winning Logo colors.

Design Format:
We will need the winning design for the website template in a layered PSD file format.
For the Logo, we want it in a vector file, eps, psd, gif and jpg for flexibility. The Logo should have the website domain address as part of it.
It would probably be best for the Logo to have 3 colors or less.

NAVIGATION - Navigation choices should include Home, About Us, "Sell My Home", "FAQ", "Services", and Contact Us in this order. Im open to either vertical navigation, horizontal navigation or both. Also, please leave 3 "Blank Tabs" for additional links that may or may not be used.

WEBSITE DIMENSIONS Make it a standard size that will fit in most browsers. I have noticed how on some websites that I visit, it seems to expand to a "maximum" type width ...depending on whatever computer I go there on. I really like this. See http://www.homesbyowner.com as an example of this.
