Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a new, urban United Methodist Church. We are small (50 or less at our gatherings) and a blend of Gen Y, Gen X, plus a few older folks. We recently sold all of our property so as to free up time, energy and heart. In October of this year, we moved into a new historical storefront space on Richmond's Broad Street.
Our logo will be used to invite new people to experience our community (outdoor signage, for example). It will also need to be suitable for use in printed materials that we send to our existing members and friends (a letter from the pastor).
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

We're also willing to consider touches of green or burgundy.

I like the clean, handrawn vibe.
I like the fact that this logo feels invitational. There is a warmth to it.
I like the incorporation of a structure and also the tiled texture.
I like that I look at it and immediately know that this a bicycle outfit.
I like the the white lettering on on a backdrop. I also like the use of textured color. It strikes me as alive/vital.
I like that this doesn't look like a ton of other logos. Maybe it's the giraffe :) It just has an original vibe.
Please check out our website: http://www.boulevardumc.org. If the word "church" does not appear in the name, it may need to be worked in somehow in smaller print or with imagery.
