Adobe Illustrator files are preferred, in most cases the pre press needs of labels require the ability to edit within vector software. We are able to import vector art into Illustrator from most of these programs.
*500 ppi is preferred. If the print method has not yet been chosen it is best to build images at the higher 500 ppi. Please be aware if submitting final art in PDF format, most Adobe presets will down sample images in order to decrease the file size. Therefore we recommend using “Illustrator Default” when submitting final art. “High Quality Print”, “Press Quality”, and the PDF X series will down sample to 300 ppi. Please convert RGB images to CMYK using “SWOP v2 20%”.
