IsDB got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Design a unique logo for an MDB Global Advisory Panel
Check out IsDB's Logo design contest…
The Strategy department in the Islamic Development Bank is developing a Global Advisory Panel for the President of the institution composed of imminent personalities from around the world, (including ex-Presidents of G20 countries, etc). The idea of this panel is to be a sounding board for the president on key issues in the development sphere. We are looking for a logo for this President Advisory Panel. We are also toying with the prospect of a more catchy name for the Panel...suggestions in this regard would also be welcome.
