nRg (pronounced “energy”) is a project management app by R3 Retail Development (an energy management company that helps grocery stores and other commercial spaces optimize their stores to be as energy efficient as possible).
A typical user of the app would be one of R3 Retail Development customers - a grocery store owner or manager that has hired R3 to improve the energy efficiency of their store by installing computerized lighting and refrigeration units as well as re-designing the store layout for the best customer experience.
The nRg App users will log into their customized dashboard and find information on task and issue management, correspondence, email notifications, contractor and project schedules.
The nRg brand/logo should convey “energy” and movement with a modern feel. While the nRg logo need NOT mimic the R3 Retail Development logo, it should complement the logo since it is an app built and provided by R3.
If there is a way to tie a “3” into the nRg logo in a way that feels intentional and does not take away from the nRg logo, then we are interested in that but the 3 (if it’s included) should not distract from nRg brand.
This is a logo, not an app icon. We may use it on the app icon but we want a logo we can use throughout the app screens and in promotional materials.
The nRg logo may share similar feelings to a mathematical equation (think R cubed / R to the third power / where the 3 is super-script to the right of the R) or it may have elements of engineering design (think blueprints and engineering drawings). You might re-purpose the R from the R3 Retail Development logo or the r may take a totally different form in this nRg logo. These are not requirements but it may give you some ideas about where to start.
