It was a wonderful experience working with kampret. Very responsive, and received feedback well and understood adjustments to make perfectly; I could not be happier with my design.
How tomlwilson started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Reclamation Church or REC Church
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a church that is trying to specifically reach those who have given up on church or been burned by church. We are looking for something that matches that strategy. We are decorating with old rusted and reclaimed decorations and repurposed wood. We will even have a 1949 rusted out chevy pickup truck as our main focal point in our front landscaping. We decorate more along the lines of Magnolia Designs. When it comes to our new logo, we want something that feels a little more retro, think classic car grill, etc. The concept of reclamation would be great to work into the artwork. We don't want it to be too masculine, but we want to send a message that we are not your normal church.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
We are looking for a simple clean logo that is easy to duplicate with no more than a few colors, just to make it easy to print, etc. We love the idea of a negative space logo with a hidden icon or graphic, but only if the design calls for it. This will be the outward expression of our new vision and we really want it to send a message that we are not a normal church and are very much looking for people in need of second chances. Our new vision statement is "Embracing those who have given up on church, so they can discover Jesus." We DO NOT want our logo to look like religion or church. We are anxious to get started and we will be very involved in the process and willing to provide any feedback asked of us during the design process. Thank you for your consideration.
