How absoluteliz15 started their logo design journey
Who are you known as?
Equine Elixirs is the company name
What’s your company slogan?
The name of the specific product is Ulceraser
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The company will produce supplements for performance horses and will target different areas requiring attention. The first product is used to prevent ulcers and is called Ulceraser. Other future products may include joint supplements, weight gain supplements, hoof health, etc. Elixirs is a word I picked to be playful and different and not just describe the product as supplement or feed. Because there will be different products, I would eventually like for each one to incorporate the logo, but perhaps a different color will be assigned to different products.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
Animal & Pet
What colors do you want to see in your design?
Other color requirements
I'd like to explore the following colors:
Blues: Knowledge, trust, calm and honesty.
Dark neutrals: Formality, mystery, exclusivity and luxury.
Let designers make suggestions:
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
I am torn between whether I would like a horse head or body incorporated in the design or whether I would rather play on the word elixir or whether it is possible to include a "sciency" aspect and horse aspect into the logo. Blue is the color of first place ribbons for show horses so sometimes riders are drawn towards products that have blue. That said, eventually with different products the products will have different colors for coding. I don't want you to feel limited to using blue. I was also toying with the idea of introducing a molecule or some kind of science aspect into the logo to play on elixir. Not sure how that works with incorporating a horse or not into the logo. I want customers to be drawn to the package/logo and ultimately think that it is cool, modern, but sophisticated, and looks legitimate and expensive. The particular ingredients for this product are all natural.
I just uploaded a few photos of classic horses jumping so you can see what the perfect form looks like.
