How St. Joseph started their logo design journey

Archdiocese of Kingston
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
The Archdiocese of Kingston is a Catholic diocese in Canada. Their mission is: We, the community of God's people,
in the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Kingston,
united by the Holy Spirit with lives rooted in the Gospel, proclaim with joy the resurrection of Christ and, as followers of the Risen Lord, under the patronage of Mary, the Mother of God, dedicate our lives in Christian service to all, especially those in most need.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?
To give us an idea of the overall feeling of your brand, let us know which styles you lean towards
The Archdiocese would like to have a crest/shield created and I have attached an image that shows the significance of the components.
It MUST include:
Mitre (several examples of other diocese crests with mitre at the top to show you how they would like it presented)
The image of the wood carving is located at the Cathedral that is the seat of the Archdiocese of Kingston.
Must use Marian Blue as a color (particular shade of Marian blue is up to you), want lilies to be white with green stem and the maple leaf should be red. Can use gold as accent color and for the crown.
*Do not need to include the cross and staff or have the name in a banner.*
