Bill Analysis.net has made a profitable living analysing mobile phone call costs exclusively for telecommunications companies. The process being: Telco collects the bill from the consumer The bill is analysed by Bill Analysis.net Telco returns to the consumer with a report highlighting the savings they will make by switching to their company. What is the brand’s key business problem? With mobile phone calls becoming less profitable for telecommunications companies, Bill Analysis is becoming less important. What are we advertising? While the telecommunications industry has given up on making money from phone calls and is concentrating on data; individual consumers, SME’s and businesses want to save money on their phone bills…especially in today’s tough economic climate. Who are we advertising to? Individual consumers SME’s What media have we chosen to do this? To begin, to keep advertising costs low, we are launching on Facebook, reaching individual consumers and small business owners. What do we know about our target audience? Everyone needs to slash costs. Especially individuals and SME’s. “Where possible, consumers are saving whatever money they can or reducing debt.” B&T Magazine, 19th March 2009. We need to communicate to them that we will make it easy for them to slash their mobile bill costs. Increasing rate of social media use, which is perfect for spreading the word about Bill Analysis. (I saved 50% on my bill…therefore you can too). What is the single minded claim we are making? Analysing your mobile phone bill is a quick way to make Big Savings.
