jonesconnord got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Create a logo for a blog with a vortex motif
Check out jonesconnord's Logo design contest…
I'm starting a personal blog that will feature a commentary on politics, policy, the news, and national affairs. My goal will be to not adhere to an ideology, but we'll have to wait to see how the blog develops. "Vortices" is the plural of vortex.
Logo types to explore
I prefer sans serifs generally, but a simple serif would also work. I'd like the logo to incorporate the idea of a vortex, though in a subtle way. UPDATE: WordPress theme I'm using is very minimalist. URL is http://vortic.es so if you want to include differential coloring, vortic|es would be the breakup. UPDATE2: Less is more with these.
