GracePointe is one word with the P capitalized. I know in certain fonts that won't matter, but it was worth pointing out.
I would like a logo that is stylistically more classic, but not boring; cool, but not too edgy. we will not be a "stuffy" church, but we will still be a church. I'm not that creative, so I'm open to having my preconceived ideas challenged.
With the exception of the words incorporated in the logo, I love everything about image1 - including the colors, cross design, fading of the white background, etc. Love it.
A similar "style" logo is from CrossPointe Church. Since we are GracePointe church, I'm not sure if it works with the first logo, but I like how CrossPointe Church has emphasized the "pointing to and from the cross with the sort of scope pointing to the cross and the point at the top of the cross.
I would like the logo and church name to be separate like in image3 and image4. I like the logo/name flow of image3 and image4, but the more classic font of image3 than that of image4.
I will ultimately need to have a logo that works in color and black & white. I will need to have something where I can have a version of the logo/name side by side and stacked.
Colors shown in these logos are probably closer. I like dark green and certain oranges as well, but I'm not sure if they will work or will be too out there.
In case image names are not on the files:
