adam.clausen got their new logo design by running a design contest:
Contemporary/Millennial Church RE-BRAND LOGO
Check out adam.clausen's Logo design contest…
We are a non-denominational Christian church that is very active in the community (Madison, WI) through service projects, our food pantry, and benevolence ministries. We are VERY ethnically diverse (60% white, 35% African/African-American, 5% Asian/Hispanic; many interracial couples) and economically diverse. We are compromised of mostly young families but are still generationally diverse (5% above 60, 40% 40-60, 40% 20-40, 15% under 20).
We emphasize simplicity in our organization and as an approach to life, so we want that reflected in our logo. We want the color, (SANS SERIF) font, and any proposed symbol to somehow be classy (timeless) but mostly forward looking/modern (without being too fad-ish). Because "Life" and "Center" are general terms, finding a symbol has been challenging because one thing that represents "life" narrows the scope too much, we have found. You're welcome to propose a symbol but we are leaning towards preferring an "LC" abstraction. Themes we have emphasized in our gatherings as we cultivate our new brand identity have been freedom, empowerment, relationships, mystery/exploration, and life/living. We don't want anything too "churchy" looking so NO CROSSES, BIBLES, STEEPLES, DOVES/BIRDS/SUNS/ETC. We have a large monument sign on our property by a major highway so this logo would eventually be incorporated into that as well. Our building looks more commercial than traditional religious churches and has a grey and blue exterior but we are not bound to those colors. We also ARE aware that some past submissions (more than we are comfortable with) have been copies of "LC" logos that are pre-existing and easily found on a Google search, so PLEASE try to be original.
Every design category has flexible pricing for all budgets. Logo design starts at $299.
