About us

Overture will be an online resource for music students to play along exercises, musical excerpts, repertoire, warm-ups, etc. The software will be interactive, so they can speed up, slow down, transpose the exercise so that they can learn in different ways. It will be for all musical instruments, and undergraduate level, so I don't want the logo being any instrument specific, or with any musical symbols (unless very cleverly done!). The slogan won't always appear either, so please make it work without it too.

Other notes

Think other well-known music software like Sibelius (avid) and Finale. It needs to be clean, smart, and distinctive. I would like the O of Overture to be able to be used on it's own too, so if that could have a mixture of blue colours just in the O, then once this new project is up and running, the O could be the symbol of Overture, and everyone will know the O is this Overture project.

C monogram logo for visual effects company

I love creating unique monograms so used this approach for Colony Visual Effects. As company is working on visual effects and making impossible stuff, possible, I decided to play with C, made with Escher-esque approach creating bending letter with impossible geometry theme. It works really great with subtle gradient giving this effect another dimension, but it works really great in single color as well. I took extra effort and created couple mockups showing this design used in various situations and in the end payed of.
