We are our Christ-centered, gospel-focused, non-denominational church in the city of Denver, Colorado. We live in Stapleton, a planned community developed by Forest City. (http://www.stapletondenver.com/) Most residents were attracted to Stapleton by its emphasis on community living and its family-friendly infrastructure. The population is predominantly young to middle-aged couples with 2-4 young children. A very small percentage of Stapleton residents would consider themselves religious, and many individuals maintain a certain aversion to the church. However, the same people lament the loss of traditions and are seeking to reclaim them. The Stapleton MCA website will give some additional insight into the interests and style of our residents (http://www.stapletoncommunity.com/). There is a strong urban influence, as most of our residents work in downtown Denver. Here is an article that captures some community values: http://frontporchstapleton.com/arti…rinciples/
What inspires you and how do you envision the design for your business?
Our church needs a graphic that will be used on our website and a
printed flyer to invite individuals to our Christmas Eve Service. The
felt need that we are addressing is the desire to reintegrate
traditions in our lives. We like the idea of a modern, artistic take
on a classic element of the Biblical Christmas Story. I really like
the graphic below of the Star of Bethlehem, which contains the text
"Christmas Eve - 6:30." The image of the Star of Bethlehem is subtle,
artistic and simple. Last year, we used an image of the Star of
Bethlehem and the Three Wise Men, which I have attached.
The tagline on the graphic should read "Start a new tradition." It
should also include the following information:
"Celebrate Christmas Eve with NorthField Church, 5:30pm, Westerly
Creek Elementary". I am attaching our logo file, which we would like
to include as well. There are additional logo options in the following
dropbox link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/sc6mv46n…IfGna?dl=0
Our website is rather dated, so it should not be used as a style guide. Instead, the files that we have attached should provide some direction.
