What's your vision?
We require a high resolution design (vector art preferred) for our front reception wall. The design should be inviting, inspiring, exciting, welcoming and colorful! Reception wall size is 310" W x 76.5" H. Cultural Change is the objective. We want the graphics on the wall to show that as a company, we are moving in a direction of teamwork and unity (inviting our employees to work toward the same goal). We want the wall to inspire them to feel that there is unity in the company and that when we work together great things can happen and we can be successful. The design should be sophisticated and have a modern/up to date concept. It should have energy and movement. A WOW factor should be present so that it gets you thinking when you look at it (an interesting design). No product pictures please. You may come up with inspiring and creative text if you feel this is appropriate for the reception area wall. You can also use the Allanson logo that I have uploaded, but don't make this the center of attention. Remember to be creative!
Remember - we want this reception wall to be welcoming and inspiring for both our employees and customers.

My relationship with Vesper has mixed feelings. At first, I was baffled why he dropped out so early, but grateful he returned at my invitation. Sometimes he was a little slower to respond, reply, and edit than the other designers, but his thoughts and directions and educating me (not required obviously) were beneficial. Only one other designer along with Vesper took time to educate and correct my thinking. Both of these high-quality designers also listened intently to my detailed requests with both understanding and appreciation. On my last day before approving the final logo, I spent time on the phone with Vesper. A one hour conversation started with him apologizing (which was just what I needed: he addressed everything that bothered me: delayed responses, and ego) and lead to us getting to know each other. Over the conversation, I was able to understand more of his mind and heart. Before our phone conversation, I would have rated him three stars: a two star reduction because I get annoyed with ego… mostly because I have an issue with my own ego. Through conversation, the ego quickly faded, the inner man shined, and we struck a good chord together! I don’t know if it was talent, or a miracle, but his logo more than any other fit perfectly with the deep feelings behind what we do. He didn’t even know it, and he was capturing the feeling, the overall purpose, and the external image all in one logo. I believe he needed to be a part of our image creation as much as we needed the perfect logo. I don’t think he had to put in as much effort as some of the others did call that’s where it’s either talent or miracle… or a combination of both. Either way, in the end, I am grateful for his logo and the privilege I had to speak with him on the phone for an hour. When he combines his time, talents, energy, and assets, he is a great artist and blessing to humanity! And I’m guessing his car will be immaculate within a week. =-)
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
