Aryel was phenomenal. She really captured the essence of what we wanted for the branding. She also made it very clear that our approval/happiness was her priority, irrelevant of how many amendments were needed. A great designer and a pleasure to work with. Thank you, Aryel.
Great work, we love the logo
Great to work with! Went back and forth with us, making the logo and entire brand pack fit our needs. I highly recommend working with Talented Designs.

Who are you known as?
Calgary First Church of the Nazarene
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a multigenerational church, with a rich history dating back to 1911. Our mission statement is "Making Christ-Like disciples with a heart for God and a passion for people". We want to welcome people from all backgrounds of all ages. We want something that will appeal to both young and old, not too edgy but modern.
Addendum: part of our focus is not only community within the walls of our church building, but also going out into the world and serving others. It would be wonderful if the logo could communicate this visually as well.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?

Classic font, with a creative but traditional logo
Nice use of multicolours
Balance of white and colour, traditional logo with modern edge
Approachable logo, with a modern flair
We're okay with traditional Christian symbolism (ie. crosses). You can take a look at our amateur-made website at http://firstnaz.ca to get a flavour of our congregation. Attached are two samples of what we have now: the first is a simple logo made via squarespace (red and blue); the second is something a member of our staff had been working on, and sort of reflects the colour scheme of what we're looking for (all caps logo). We'd like to have Nazarene be present, but not the main focus, as we are aware that some people find denominations somewhat intimidating. Some descriptors for our perfect logo: "clean, bold, white space, timeless but current".
