Bethel Reformed Presbyterian
Tell us a bit about who you are and the people you reach
We are a traditional church in a small, rural community (pop. 4,300), coming up on our 200-year anniversary. As a congregation in the Presbyterian Church in America (PCA), we are focused on preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ, and helping people reach spiritual maturity. Most of the people in this area are in the farming, energy/coal, and healthcare sectors. Our target audience, narrowly speaking, is young families.
What industry do you think your business is most related to?
What colors do you want to see in your design?

I like the elegant and modern design of the nest. The lowercase font works for this logo, though it wouldn't for our church logo.
I appreciate how this design captures a sense of history.
Very clever way of incorporating the idea of "carrier." Says a lot with very little.
I love how the designer was able to incorporate both elements of the company name in the design. It's subtle and simple, making for a pleasing aesthetic.
The logo should capture a sense of our church's long history and reverent worship style, without making us seem stuffy, irrelevant, or unapproachable. In other words, we want to have an eye on the present and future, without forgetting where we came from.
Simplicity and memorability are key. We might want to incorporate the shape of our sanctuary into the logo, since it's distinctive (see http://www.bethelrpc.com/). Another idea is to somehow incorporate the meaning of "Bethel" (in Hebrew, "house of God") in the logo. Another idea is to base the logo on the letters ("BR" or "BRP"), like the Yankees do.
Please note that our website will be redesigned based on the logo, so there's no need to make a logo that matches the look of the current website.
