AgroStruct got their new logo & brand identity pack by running a design contest:
Logo needed at the intersection of biology and architecture

We offer construction management and project owner advisement services targeting commercial indoor cultivation owners, primarily in the emerging legal Cannabis sector, but want our brand identity to be non cannabis specific. As the owner's agent, we manage projects through all planning, design, and construction phases as well as offer expert advice at the intersection of agronomy and construction to keep projects on time and on budget. This is a new business identity, but we have been working in this industry for years. We're located in Northern San Diego County, in a beach town called Encinitas, California. Our customer base has typically been anywhere in the US and Canada. We are looking to appeal to both the cultivator who grows plants for a living as well as the shrewd business investor behind every development project. The customer will hire us onto their project to augment their existing management team, which may be lacking in expertise and project management skills from a cultivation and agronomy stand point, as well as from construction and business practices.
Other color requirements
Please stick to white, grays, blacks, light greens, and dark blues for the color pallet options.

And then… they selected a winner!
Lah-dee-dah was an absolute pleasure to work with. She is talented, but beyond that, she obviously put a lot of thought into the designs. She explained the design concepts so that I could understand the purpose of the design features, which I really appreciated. Also, I did a survey of my target audience and everyone responded well to the logo, and they responded to it in exactly the way I hoped for. Overall great experience.
Along the way, they met lots of talented designers…
We think contests are a super fun way to get design.
