The book's translation title is 'In My Blood'. After every murder, the serial killer, named 'The bloodline-killer' draws a line of blood on the wall, using his victim's blood. The first sentence from the book synopsis influenced the cover concept: 'A line of blood runs through the old town of Celle. The bloodline killer kills influential and wealthy people. His goal is to request a very special heritage.'
