Community & Non-Profit
We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping the families of children with autism. To date our protocol is in 38 countries all over the world, and 70 children have completely lost their autism diagnosis. Our goal is to prove that autism is Avoidable, Treatable, Curable, and provide the tools to do so.
What's your vision?
My sister and I are writing a book that details the protocol that has helped 70 children recover form autism, and we need a book cover. I want a black background, (when it prints I think I want it to be matte finish) The title is: Healing the symptoms known as Autism. the words Healing and Autism are to be much bigger than the other words, in fact I would like them to take up the full width of the book and be at least 1.5 to 2'' long. The title can take up the top 1/3 - 1/2 of the book. If it is possible to have the letters kind of coming off the page, similar to the Hollywood sign from the air. In the photo that I am attaching I like the way the word time looks, standing up, with the shadows, however not in those colors as I feel that our color is going to come from the the artwork. Underneath that is the image of a heart made of hand drawn puzzle pieces, here is a link to what I want, if I need to purchase this image, I can do that, or I may just draw it myself if necessary. http://www.shutterstock.com/pic-70537996/stock-photo-heart-puzzle-hand-drawn-illustration-isolated-on-white-background.html colorful puzzle pieces are an international symbol for autism. I would like the heart to be large as well, behind it either a halo that makes it seem like it is floating, or some kind of sunburst, the halo/sunburst can extend up under the title. In the attached photo the halo around the words is something along the lines of what I am looking for. Along the bottom of the book Kerri Rivera - next line- with Kimberly McDaniel. Possibly in white or bright colored text so they jump out a little bit. The spine can use the same text as the title if possible, with just Kerri Rivera, and if possible some of the little puzzle pieces at the ends. On the back cover a space for a photo top left corner, and there will be a paragraph of text that I don't have ready today, and ISBN number on the bottom.
The idea behind the design is the black symbolizes the darkness that not only many of the children feel, but the families as well, the words Healing and Autism are like bright lights illuminating the space, and the "glowing" heart symbolizes healing with love, which is what my sister has done for thousands of families all over the world. Thank you.
