Mark Damon Brooks
In a world where superheroes exist, it will take one normal man to remind everyone what it means to be a hero. Malcolm Mills has a problem with the Newton Force. He has his reasons. Yet the rest of the world loves the world’s only superheroes. Gifted with super strength, flight, telepathy, and indestructible skin, the Newton Force aren’t the heroes they appear to be. They’re more comfortable doing commercials and signing autographs than fighting crime. When an exo-suit clad criminal conducts a brazen attack in broad daylight, it results in the death of Malcolm’s friend. Now Malcolm is going to do the one thing the Newton Force won’t. He’s going to find the criminal and save the day. Along the way, Malcolm discovers a criminal who is as brilliant as he is ruthless. And who is rapidly evolving from a low-level villain to a full-fledged supervillain.
Anyone who loves a more realistic or grounded take on superhero stories.
Book cover type
I need an book cover design for my superhero series. I would like a modern look maybe with some hints of minimalist thrown in there. I would like bold modern font for the title. Colors can range from reds to blues to silver. There are four main superheroes in my story who the world basically worships. The idea I had for the cover was to have statues of the four heroes, with a crowd worshiping or cheering them. Then the title and author name at the bottom in the shadow of the crowd or the statues. Or the statues cast a shadow that becomes the crowd in kind of a minimalist way. If that makes sense. The heroes do not wear capes and the statues don't need a lot of detail. Again, it can be kind of minimalist in appearance. One hero, the leader is very large and muscular. Kind of like Mr. Incredible from The Incredibles movie. Another hero is very very large and bulky in appearance, like The Thing from Fantastic Four. The last two, a man and a woman, are both average height and build.
It all began with a design brief.
